In celebration of Triumph Motorcycles continued success as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2 World Championship and the release of the new MY20 Street Triple, we would like to invite you to our Triumph Owners Track Day on Friday December 6 at Lakeside Park at Queensland Raceway. All Triumph Motorcycle owners are welcome and skill levels from Novice to Racer will be catered for. Where: Lakeside Park at Queensland Raceway When: Friday 6th December Time: Gates open 7.30am Price: $125 per rider (early bird rate) $150 after. (spectators free) Sessions: 6 x 15-20 minute sessions on track (includes free on track photography) Purchase your ticket according to the pace group description below. Yellow Pace Group (Novice/Slow). This group has strict overtaking rules and the 1st two sessions of the day will commence with 2 x sighting laps ridden under yellow flags. Best suited to Cruisers, Modern Classics and road riders that are new to track days. Blue Pace Group (Medium). This group has more relaxed overtaking rules and caters for riders with knowledge of racing lines, braking technique and advanced cornering skills. Best suited to regular track riders on performance bikes like Daytona 675, Street Triple 765RS/675R and Speed Triple 1050 R/RS. Red Pace Group (Fast/Racer). Overtaking can be conducted in a respectful manner on corner entry and therefore riders will need to have plenty of on-track experience. Best suited to racers or extremely fast track day riders with track prepared machines running slick tyres, suspension upgrades etc. Please note: You can change your pace group on the day if need be. All riders will be required to hold a current Racers Licence. It is best to purchase this 1 day licence prior to arriving at Lakeside Park. It will save time during registration and get you on track sooner. The link for obtaining this licence is below: All riders will need to complete additional indemnity forms prior to riding on the circuit. There is pitlane open garage access however they are not powered for Tyre warmers etc. There is limited space undercover in case of wet wether so pit tents are welcome. The canteen will be open for food and drink but feel free to bring your own refreshments and lunch. There will be some access to tyre fitment and leather hire on the day through 3rd party suppliers. However to avoid disappointment please come prepared for the day on track. Fuel is NOT available at the venue so come prepared with enough fuel for a day’s riding. To be eligible to participate in the Triumph Owners Track Day you must: Ride a Triumph Motorcycle Wear full leathers (if 2-piece they must zip together), back protector, approved full **** helmet, gloves that cover the wrist and calf-high boots Hold or purchase a Racers Licence and have completed all required indemnity forms. You will need to show these during registration. You must also attend the mandatory safety briefing. In the event that the track day is cancelled by Triumph Australia a full refund will be issued. Riders with slick tyres will not be allowed out on track if the circuit is declared ‘wet’ by the clerk of course.
