This Special Event will encompass a review of famous female vocalists from the last century including Billie Holliday, Shirley Horne, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Nina Simon, Peggy Lee, and Julie London. Make sure you don’t miss this event. Come for Dinner, the Kitchen will close at 7:30, and cocktails will be served throughout the show. The show begins at 8:00 with the **** and segues into Cynthia’s Utterbach has performed in the musical production “The Buddy Holly Story” in Hamburg Germany for over fourteen years, and has since performed as a jazz vocalist throughout Europe and Asia. She was also cast in the Golden Globe Award winning movie “Rosentrasse” including writing lyrics for two songs on the cites her main inspiration Sarah Vaughn, and certainly she has a comparable warm sonority in the low register.Tim DeMars **** also features Musical Director Joe Wilson who has appeared for over eight years at the renowned Hilton Head Jazz Corner. Bassist Wayne Mitchum fills the bottom end along with Tim DeMars on Drums.
