They are coming to Stuttgart from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and all over Europe. The top international lumberjack athletes will be showing their skills in thir quest for the title on 11 and 12 November 2016 for the 12th STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship. More than 100 top athletes will meet in the individual and team competitions in the home of STIHL – Stuttgart. For everyone who can not visit the World Championship in Stuttgart, we will have a livestream. ————————– 2016 kommt die STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Weltmeisterschaft zurück nach Stuttgart – in die Heimat von STIHL! Über 100 internationale Athleten aus Neuseeland, Australien, USA, Kanada und ganz Europa werden sich in der Stuttgart Arena ein Stelldichein der Extraklasse geben, bei dem wie jedes Jahr vor einem großen Publikum erbittert um den Titel gekämpft wird. Am Freitag, den 11.11. findet der Teamwettbewerb statt – ein staffelähnlicher Wettbewerb, bei dem vier Disziplinen von vier Athleten bestritten werden. Am Samstag, 12.11. wird dann in der Einzelwertung in den bekannten 6 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Disziplinen (Underhand Chop, Stock Saw, Standing Block Chop, Single Buck, Springboard, Hot Saw) um den Titel gekämpft.
