FAQs Is there minimum age requirements to enter the event? The event is open to anyone who is transitioning from study to work. The workshop suits high school leavers, university undergraduates, post-graduates, experienced hires with approx. 2-3 years work experience How do I get to the venue? If you are travelling by public transport IT’S REALLY SIMPLE; – Catch the Route 1 Tram (East Coburg to South Melbourne Beach) toward South Melbourne Beach – You can get on this tram at Stop 13 at Flinders Street station if travelling in via train to the city – Get off the tram at Stop 22 – Dorcas Street- Walk about 350m (5mins) to 157 Dorcas Street- This trip (Flinders St station to Dorcas St should take you 15 mins all up) You can drive and there is plenty of on street parking. We can easily accommodate breaks to move your car to avoid overstaying and incurring a parking fine What is the venue like? The Topiary event space is entered at 50 Tope Street South Melbourne. It is a warehouse style event space that promotes a creative yet funky atmosphere to learn, grow and network in. Will lunch be provided? We will break for lunch and this is a great opportunity for you to meet me and the Seed Value team. You will be able to purchase lunch from the venue we train at or alternatively bring your own lunch. We offer drinks and snacks throughout the day. We like to keep you energised Dress Code? Business Casual .. What is that you ask? Comfortable but not too casual. I recommend wearing clothes that are always clean and well presented as well as comfortable. This means you can focus on delivering the work are you required to deliver and not be focussed on what you are wearing. This is a great opportunity for you to ask me questions about dress code in the workplace. The way someone dresses can send communication signals about their intentions. Pre-Work Once you are registered please look out for an email that will contain instructions for your pre-work. You will need to complete 2 online questionnaires that should only take you about 1 hour in total to complete both. You will also recieve a detailed information booklet that will aim to answer all your questions you have in relation to the day.
