River Explorers – Hands-on Nature Programs for Curious Kids Family Fun Saturdays at CURB! Open Center Hours 10a-** Hudson River Family Seining* 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm – *Ages 5+ Wade into the river to catch and release critters! Exploration Hour 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Engage in independent learning and study of the river. Prepare for your river fun! We will provide you and your family with waders (waterproof boots/overalls) to walk into the water; however, these are most comfortable when you are wearing socks — so please bring an extra pair you don’t mind getting dirty. We will meet our guests down by the river beach – please note, we will serve our community on a first come first serve basis. At the river, you will receive a number which corresponds to your turn. Each family will be alloted one turn in the river wading – however, you are welcome to stick around and see what else is caught by others. For safety concerns, only youth ages 5+ are allowed to walk into the water seining with us.
