Sunday 20 September 2020; 11.30am to 4.00pm with Grant Higginson of Cut Above Productions Talented, passionate and approachable, experienced photographer Grant Higginson will show you how to unleash the full potential of your DSLR camera. It doesn’t matter if you’re yet to move off auto, or have been happily snapping away for years but now want to want to take your photography to the next level – Grant will show you how to get the very most out of your camera to capture and create better photos. Grant has been a professional photographer and videographer for over 20 years and has run his own business in Wagga Wagga since 2003. His photography work includes commercial, real estate, wedding, family portraiture and stunning work with landscapes and wildlife. His clients say things like ‘absolutely 100% talented and professional’, ‘so easy to work with and the photos are fantastic’, and ‘…awesome, amazing at what he does & so easy to be around, couldn’t recommend any better’. An excellent communicator, Grant has taught photography both privately and through Tafe NSW and has a great aptitude for translating the technical, as well as the creative, aspects of photography. This workshop is suitable for those at a beginner or intermediate level and will cover the settings of your camera, shooting in manual mode, the composition of your photo, manipulating aperture and ISO shutter speed, enhancing your photography with artificial and natural light and learning how to identify what components go to making a photograph that just ‘works’. We think the easiest way to learn is by doing and so this is a practical, hands-on workshop within the lovely spring gardens of Tambea. The workshop includes the tuition with Grant (together with his assistant), detailed notes to take home, a delicious lunch with dessert and Tambea hospitality. Participants need only bring a digital SLR camera (any brand is fine) including a memory card, we’ll provide the rest. Fievent.com | Contact | Privacy | Terms
