Peace Corps Connect is the Peace Corps community’s annual conference hosted by the National Peace Corps Association and its affiliate groups to connect, engage and inspire our community. At this year’s conference – Peace Corps Beyond – we look forward to celebrating 55 years of Peace Corps and the limitless potential of our community to continue to effect change. Submit a proposal to lead a session at Peace Corps Connect. The conference will address issues at the core of our mission and sessions will inspire our community to provide global leadership in each of the following areas: 1) Global Health: ensuring healthy lives for all ages worldwide 2) Environmental Sustainability: taking action to combat climate change and its impacts 3) Peace and Security: influencing domestic and foreign policy to promote peaceful and inclusive societies 4) Economic Development: fostering innovation to achieve sustained and inclusive economic growth and combat inequality within and among countries 5) Equality & Justice: promoting equality and empowerment of marginalized populations worldwide, including girls and women and LGBTQ, indigenous and minority communities
