This is a 6 day taught programme (8th, 9th , 15th, 22nd June & 9th, 10th July 2020) 100% attendance is required. Content: The module focuses on the knowledge and skills required by nurses and AHP’s who care for children with oncological and malignant haematological conditions. The module will cover new and novel therapies that children and young people with an oncological diagnosis may have. Autologous and allogenic transplants palliative care quality improvemnt projects in paediatric oncology Assessment: work based competencies and a 3000 word assignment Booking: once you have booked on you will be emailed an application form. Please state if you wish to gain academic credit for the module as you will have to apply to the University of Southampton for the credits. You will be able to complete the module at Level 6 or Level 7.
