Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training  –  Module 2  Pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting – it’s a miraculous journey many women undertake, one of self-discovery and learning.   Join Lauren Garrett-Spence & Co-Founder Michelle Papa for this intensive training program and become a specialised Pre and Post Natal Yoga teacher. Held at the Abbotsford Convent this is a life changing program for women – whether or not you are a yoga teacher. Join together with your sisters and celebrate the beauty of the feminine form and learn how to support yourself, your friends and students with yoga, mindfulness and active birth techniques as they begin the journey to motherhood. Based on Dr Byrne’s research, this program is unique and is accredited with Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia.You will find our lead teacher trainers facilitating in Australia, Asia and Europe and Mindful Birth graduates from all over the globe empowering women within their communities. The program gives you the skills to help women and their families during this sacred transition through the practice of yoga, mindfulness and community.   Yoga teachers, midwives, doulas, physiotherapists, doctors and pregnant women have been in attendance.  Schedule:Each day we join together for practice, education and practical explorations of how to apply yoga throughout the journey of pregnancy yoga and birth. Days start at 8am, and finish at can be taken individually with the exception of Module 3 which is on Yoga for Mindful Birth (Integrating Mindfulness in Birthing and Yoga for Birth) . This 8 week program was a novel interweaving of mindfulness & yoga techniques with skills based childbirth education designed to overcome fear of birth, reduce the stress associated with this life changing time and to educate women to be active during birth, however and wherever they birth.
