Medical Assistant Certification Information Session – Free

Are you ready to start your career as a Medical Assistant? Brookdale Community College is formally recognized by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), a national credentialing organization for allied health professionals. Learn to be proficient in all aspects of a medical office through lecture, lab practice, and clinical externship.   Areas of Study:  Patient interaction, overview of front desk procedures, infection control, emergency procedures, phlebotomy, minor procedures, EKG and CPR certification.. The Medical Terminology portion of the class will correspond to the college credit course. Students can earn 3 credit upon successful completion of the program.   Prepare to sit for the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification exam and ECG exam through NCCT.   This program is 384 classroom/lab hours, 73 online hours and 160 clinical externship hours.
