For most early career teachers, managing workload is their number one professional issue. Establishing a productive routine for daily, weekly, termly and yearly workload can be challenging. This session will provide tips and tricks from an experienced teacher about how to make your life as a classroom teacher much easier, including planning your lessons, managing marking and assessment, dealing with email volume, and organising your timetable efficiently. The session will also unpack burnout warning signs and strategies to implement if you feel overwhelmed by workload. Presenter Janine Colwell is a Curriculum Leader for Mathematics and has spent over 12 years teaching senior maths and science. Session attendees will receive an attendance certificate that can be used as evidence of certified professional development for registration purposes. Who is this workshop open to?
