«Living World of Seeds» is an exciting workshop on offer in Term 3 for Stage 2 students. All in the context of the importance that seeds play in our lives, students will learn about seed structure, seed saving and seed germination. You will come away with inspiration to set up your own seed bank which is an excellent addition to a school garden program or can stand alone. Addresses the national science curriculum: Describe how structural features and other adpations of living things help them to survive in their environment ST3-10LW Investigate by posing questions, including testable questions, making predictions and gathering data to draw evidence-based conclusions and develop explanations ST3-4WS Compute, order and calculate with fractions, decimals and percentages MA3-7NA This workshop is free and transport costs are covered through reimbursement.
