This is a three-hour tour, visiting five venues with links to the history of beer in Leeds. Whilst on the tour, guests will learn about Leeds’ beer history, including the story of Tetley’s Brewery and the history of the famous Whitelock’s Ale House. Whilst walking between venues, we pass a number of other important historical Leeds sites, some of which date back to the Medieval period. There will be a 30 minute stop in each venue, where guests can enjoy a half a pint of beer (or equivalent) whilst tour guide Mike tells the story of Leeds beer. Each beer has been specially selected to keep in theme with the tour. Drinks are included in the cost of a ticket. Tour route (subject to venue availability!) 1. The Tetley 2. The Adelphi 3.
