Hunger Task Force – Senior Stock Box Build

Join the Outpost team to build Senior Stock Box food boxes for low income seniors. This food sort is a little different than other food sorts we typically do. Stock boxes provide staple items provided by the government that seniors typically rely on to supplement their monthly grocery needs. We will be packing up these food boxes which will then be distributed to drop sites across southeastern Wisconsin. It’s a great way to spend the evening with fellow Outpost cooperators and other community heroes!  We need 20 volunteers to help build boxes  Volunteer TODAY! Who should volunteer? Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years to work in this facility. All volunteers must also be able to lift 30+ pounds; plan for lifting, twisting and bending; and stand for long periods of time.  Strict footwear policy Because you are in a warehouse facility lifting cans and other heavy objects, Hunger Task Force requires you to wear sturdy shoes like tennis shoes, hiking shoes or work boots – no exception! Plus, layering clothes is a good idea on cold days.
