This holiday season, we’d like to invite you to join us from December 13th through 15th for our annual Victorian Teas at The Haas-Lilienthal House. Enjoy a full buffet of delicious tea sandwiches, warm scones and delectable petit fours plus unique tea blends served from silver pots. Docent-led tours of the magnificent mansion will be offered after tea service. Proceeds benefit the continued maintenance and restoration of the Haas-Lilienthal House under the direction of San Francisco Heritage. Period costumes are always encouraged, but not required. Please notify us at least 5-days before the event if there are group seating preferences or food allergy concerns. VIP *****/$75; *****/$60; Child (10 and under)/$30 Please review the FAQs below. For additional questions or concerns, contact Kerri Young: 415.441.3000 ex22 or kyoung@sfheritage.org FAQs How many seatings are there for tea? There is one seating per day, so please arrive at 2:00 PM on the day you purchased tickets. After giving guests some time to arrive, tea service will start at approximately 2:15 PM and last around an hour, after which there will be docent-led tours of the house. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Parking in the area is very limited – generally to 2-hour street parking only, so we recommend carpooling and public transportation if possible. The Haas-Lilienthal House does not have public parking spaces. If you do drive in, there’s a parking lot nearby on Jackson Street between Van Ness and Polk (2 blocks away). Also, we are located 1-2 blocks from a Muni stop. The closest stops are at Jackson and Van Ness (47, 49,) and Franklin and Clay or Sacramento (1). BUS: We are near Muni bus lines: 1, 10, 12, 19, 27, 47 & 49. BART: If you are taking BART, exit at the Civic Center station and either take a cab to Haas-Lilienthal, or walk down Grove or McAllister through the Civic Center area to Van Ness Avenue, and catch virtually any northbound bus (the near side of the street as you reach Van Ness.) Get off at Jackson, and walk one block west to Franklin – the HLH will be in the middle of the block on the west side. CABLE CAR: We are 4 blocks from the end of the California Street Cable Car line, at California & Van Ness. If you take BART from the East Bay, get off at the Embarcadero BART station and hop onto the Cable Car at Drumm & California Streets. This line ends at Van Ness. From the end of the line, walk 1 block west, and 3 blocks north (1 block uphill, the rest is pretty flat). Is my registration/ticket transferrable to another date or timeslot? Due to limited seating and table arrangements per slot, tickets are generally non-transferrable but will be assessed on a case-per-case basis. Our maximum capacity for this event is 50. Please contact Kerri Young (415.441.3000 ex22 or kyoung@sfheritage.org) to determine if space is available for a different day and/or time slot. Can I update my registration information? Yes, your general information can be updated (i.e. name, email, phone number, etc.). Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? We encourage you to have a printed ticket or mobile ticket ready. There will be a registration list available at the door to check-in guests. What is your refund policy? Thank you for your interest and support in this worthy cause! In case you are unable to attend, please notify Kerri Young (415.441.3000 ex22 or kyoung@sfheritage.org) no less than 24 hours in advance of the event date, for a full refund. Our apologies, but we will not be able to issue a refund within 24 hours of the event start date, the day of the event, after the event date has passed or for an absence due to transportation problems, illness, weather, shark attack or any other circumstances beyond our control, and/or ability to verify. The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? If you need to change the name on the ticket or registration, please notify Kerri Young (415.441.3000 ex22 or kyoung@sfheritage.org).
