Have you ever wanted to make a piece of high-tech jewelry or a model spaceship or just learn how to make something using a 3D printer? This workshop will take you through designing your own 3D printed object. You will learn how to make a 3D model using 3D CAD, with an overview of how to use a 3D printer to make your designs into physical objects. We will be using a free, browser-based software called Onshape: register for an account ahead of workshop is for Adults and children 13 and over. Participants should be comfortable using a laptop and have basic computer bring your own laptop and three-button mouse (left and right buttons + a scroll wheel in the middle) if you have one. Hatch has eight laptops and mice available on a first come, first served basis.An email address required to register online.
