Developing a Fundraising StrategyA strong fundraising strategy helps you to decide how to sustain your work and make best use of your limited resources. However, developing one requires a methodical approach, a sound knowledge of how fundraising works and an honest evaluation of your organisation’s position. Aimed at trustees, senior staff and fundraisers at small charities, this workshop will cover: A comprehensive process for developing your own fundraising strategy. A number of powerful strategic decision-making techniques for wider use. Some vital foundation exercises to do before developing your fundraising strategy so you can articulate why fundraising is necessary, review your current performance and identify how to reach key fundraising audiences. A guide to evaluating and prioritising different fundraising activities, and setting up for fundraising success. The workshop also includes several group exercises and plenty of real-life charity examples along the way. A previous attendee described the workshop as: “Your very enjoyable, clear and practical workshop has given me a structure in which to think about things and to implement a fundraising strategy. I feel that I’ve come away with a lot of useful information and – even better – a good set of tools.” Trainer Bio: Mike Zywina Mike has extensive experience as a fundraiser, consultant and charity Trustee.
