Create Your Own Fairy Door – ages 5 – 12 Saturday, August 3, 2019 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Instructor: Victoria Bealke «Macrame Momma» Create your very own Fairy Door with us at Leu Gardens! Join us in a hike while we get inspiration from the hidden fairy doors along the winding paths. During our hike, we’ll collect leaves, flowers and twigs to use as decoration in the classroom where we will design a fabulous fairy door for your home! This make and take workshop includes all materials and admission to the gardens for one child and one supervising *****. Victoria Bealke is a 3rd generation, Orlando-born Fiber Artist who works frequently under the name Macrame Momma. With a background in Art and Psychology from University of Central Florida and Valencia Community College, she loves to bring the local community together with textiles. Victoria hosts various make and take fiber art classes and educational events in the Central Florida area, and facilitates educational children’s programs at the Orlando Science Center. She also furthers her reach by offering custom, curated DIY kits for all ages online.
