This qualification is ideal for any students looking for a pathway into an apprenticeship in the construction industry and will provide an opportunity to gain exposure in various trades such as Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Cabinet Making, Painting and Plastering! In this hands on practical course, you will learn how to use basic tools and equipment and get training in fundamental construction techniques. As well as achieving a Certificate I in Construction, high performing students who successfully complete their training will also have the potential to gain an apprenticeship with All Trades Queensland. Students will also attain: Construction Industry White Card (CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) COURSE METHOD & DURATION Training will be a combination of theory and practical activities and assessment at one of our Training Facilities PLUS invaluable, real on the job experience! 10 weeks (including 2 weeks vocational placement) COST & PAYMENT The full fee for this qualification is $3,135. You may be eligible for Government Certificate 3 Guarantee funding to undertake this course, subject to individual student eligibility.
