CCC’s summer camp is open to all singers who want to immerse themselves in a five-day musical journey that can foster growth and inspiration. Directed by Dr. Kathleen Hollingsworth, CCC’s Director of Vocal Music, there will be daily classes in: • singing• songwriting• recording• choir• circle singing• a ********• functional theory creativity• career building• fun! Come as you are; all musical skill levels are welcome! Reasons to join CCC’s singing music camp: • Learn new vocal jazz, gospel and choral works in the all-camp choir• Collaboratively compose new music in a circle singing group• Learn and perform a standard in the evening concert• Learn (and understand) music theory• Hear guest musicians play and talk about music• Make new friends Dates: July 13-17, 2020Location: Niemeyer Center on CCC’s Oregon City campusCost: $150, additional $50 for evening recording sessions (6-9 p.m. for those interested in recording music, playing music or learning about recording arts)
