Chicago Karaoke And Performance Showcase (C.K.A.P.S.) is happy to announce our next show at Ted’s Place LTD. in Chicago! This night is always a ton of fun. As always, there will be a featured artist performing an acoustic set, along with lots of time for karaoke and open mic. So if you love to sing karaoke and/or have a talent other than music that you would like to perform for the crowd, then come on out! There is NO cover, ample street parking, and food is provided.
This month we will be having a featured artist/band we have never had perform before and we are STOKED!! This band has been on a long hiatus and now THEY ARE BACK!! We are speaking of the great original band from chicago, the one, the only…CATALANO w/ special guest Tony Faflik from another great original band from Chicago, Wrecked! For those who do not know, the founding member of Catalano, Pat Catalano has been battling cancer since May/2015. But he is not letting cancer slow him down. He and his band are ready to come out and do what they love to do…play music! They will be performing a rare treat of an awesome acoustic set for everyone at Ted’s. This event is a great way to: hear/see local artists perform, showcase your talent no matter what it is, network with other artists/talented people, sing karaoke from a LARGE catalaog of songs, jam with other musicians you normally wouldnt be able to, and just have a great time with friends in a chilled/fun/family atmosphere.
