The Georgia Capital Defender is presenting “Telling the Client’s Story: Tools to Equip the Entire Defense Team” on October 21 – 23, 2019 at the Embassy Suites in Savannah, Georgia. This workshop will cover a wide range of topics such as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), traumatic brain injury and CTE, gangs, intellectual disability, police encounters with the mentally ill, DNA and other junk science. It will also feature professional storytellling coach Doug Lipman, who will conduct interactive training over parts of two days on advanced storytelling techniques tailored to Capital Defense.
