This is an exhibition of oil and watercolour paintings by local artist Shreena Patel. Artwork will be available to purchase. Shreena grew up in Redbridge, Essex and she is currently studying Psychology at university. She loves being creative and she draws and paints whenever she gets time. Art has always helped bring balance to Shreena’s life, especially in difficult times, and she likes to try to capture moments in time where she can feel calm. Shreena hopes that her paintings create a sense of nostalgia and peace. The mediums thatch uses in her paintings are acrylics and oils and the subject of my work is usually centred around nature. One of her favourite places to visit is Cambridge where her mother was raised and the Botanical Garden has been a great source of inspiration for Shreena’s paintings. She feels that she is also lucky to be studying near Virginia Waters, a place which has inspired her to paint between her studies. Shreena hopes that her paintings create a sense of nostalgia and peace and that you enjoy them.
