AltaMed’s premier fundraiser, East LA Meets Napa, is celebrating 12 years! East LA Meets Napa & La Rioja will take us on a journey through time, 2000 years in the making, as we experience food and wine from the quaint wine regions of Spain. The event takes place outdoors on a warm summer evening at our new location on Chick Hearn Court, in the heart of Downtown LA. The perfect setting for the 2000 guests who enjoy trekking their way past their favorite food and wine stations. Latino owners, chefs, and representatives from 35 restaurants and 35 wineries showcase their wonderful food and wines. This event includes a VIP pre-event Tasting Room, a brief program, live entertainment, dancing, all the food you can eat, all the wine you can drink, and a surprise or two! Top sponsors enjoy the comfort of their very own private VIP reception areas. In addition, AltaMed will once again be providing a Celebrity Lounge hosted by several celebrities throughout the evening. This exclusive lounge is a great way to relax on lounge seating, mingle with other guests and VIP’s and enjoy the refreshments and entertainement throughout the night. With 2000 guests in attendance, East LA Meets Napa is AltaMed’s highest attended annual fundraising event. FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes. You must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid photo I.D. to attend. I.D’s will be checked at the door. If you do not have proper identitifcation you will be turned away. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? There are several parking garages and lots in the area. Public transportation is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. VIP’s will be provided complimentary valet parking at the _________. Please pull up to the front of ______ to valet your vehicle. What is the Celebrity Lounge? An exclusive private VIP Lounge for guests. The lounge will be hosted by a popular celebrities throughout the evening. The lounge will include lounge seating, entertainment and refreshments.
