Join us in linking hands to help keep the Great Lakes healthy for all to enjoy. Bring your family and friends All Hands on Deck non-partisan events are taking place on public beaches around Lake Michigan and the other Great Lakes. People will stand together to express their gratutude for the many gifts provided to us by the Great Lakes and to show support for the Lakes in their time of stress. More than just holding hands, activities for the morning will include a pledge to the Lakes, poetry for the Lakes, songs for the Lakes, story sharing, wishing rocks, a wave to the waves, and a beach cleanup. Blue or green clothing is suggested, but not required. Come prepared to stand near the water’s edge or in the water. Limited parking, bike if possible and carpool if driving.
