AIGA Member Maker Series: Watercolor Workshop at Sierra W…

AIGA Member Maker Series: Watercolor Workshop Date: Dec. 21, 2019 Time: 1pm-3:30pm*  Ticket Price: $45/per member AIGA Reno-Tahoe is excited to present our second members-only workshop as part of our exclusive Member Maker Series.  Exclusively for AIGA members, we have created a series of workshops to get you off the computer, get your creativity flowing, add some skills to your tool belt, and highlight the benefits of being part of our AIGA community! Join designer & illustrator Kristine Palmer this December for a watercolor workshop. In this class you’ll be taught a watercolor layering style, and a mixture of controlled and loose techniques, leading to a process that is effective in adding dimension to your watercolor paintings. Surrounded by plants and inspiration at Sierra Water’s workshop, you will practice these techniques while painting your own succulent watercolor piece to take home with you. We will provide all the supplies needed for you to create your painting, as well as some snacks and beverages. Seats are very limited for this event, do not wait to buy your ticket! Hope you see you there! *(subject to change) Why Join AIGA? No matter who you are, you’re one of us. And together we can do amazing things. As the largest professional association of designers in the world, AIGA is committed to advancing the value and impact of design, both locally and globally, and working together to inspire, support and learn from each other, at every stage of our careers. About half of AIGA’s funding comes directly from membership dues, so the participation of every member really counts. The support of our members makes everything we do possible. And in turn, every participation level offers members not only a vast range of tangible benefits, such as workshops like our Maker Series, but some intangible ones as well — which can be some of the most meaningful aspects of being an AIGA member.
