Come out and join an amazing cause and have a great time!! I will be a vendor at this event! Come get your LuLaRoe! Sandy Corley started the Fremont Michigan Chapter of the Harley Owners Group in 1986. He was the owner of Sandy’s Harley Davidson Sport Center and was a charter member and strong supporter of the small but dedicated group of riders in the area. Sandy passed away on June 29, 1989 after suffering with cancer. That fall the first event was held in Sandy’s honor. The Sandy Corley Memorial Run was a tribute to Sandy by the members of the chapter and his family and friends. There was a ride , an auction and plenty of fellowship amongst the riders. The proceeds of the first event and the following 4 went to the American Cancer Society in Sandy’s name. The event has continued to grow over the years. Each year the members of the Fremont Harley Owners Group come up with new ideas to raise more funds for cancer treatment. All the funds now raised by the group go to the Johnson Family Center for Cancer Care.. Over the last 28 years over $1.8 Million has been donated in the remembrance of Sandy Corley to aid in the treatment of cancer victims. As time goes by the Fremont Harley Owners Group is faced with many changes as is the Annual Sandy Corley Memorial Run. However one thing will never change , The Sandy Corley Memorial Run is a tribute to Sandy Corley in thanks for what he brought into our lives. Thank You Sandy, this run is for you, may you never be forgotten.
